DIRECTIONS: From I-5 exit #226, west on Kincaid, right
on 3rd St. then west on SR 536. Three miles to farm on right.
INFORMATION: Steve moved to the Valley in 1943 at 5
years old to grow up in a dairy farm with 3 generations of
Schuhs. He always knew he would farm. Susan joined his
dream in 1963 when they were married and then Jennifer
was born in 1967. It took three to create Schuh Farms as
it is today, a 300 acre fresh market farm. We sell direct to
the consumer from the on farm barn, 10 farmers markets,
2 berry stands and wholesale to other produce stands and
restaurants. We now grow a long list of fruits and veggies
– fl owers too!
Our year starts in April with rhubarb, tulips & peonies.
As the year progresses our specialties are berries, pickling
cucumbers, dill, super sweet corn, big ugly carrots,
Gravenstein and Honeycrisp apples. Pumpkins of many
shapes, sizes and colors, gourds and winter squash round
out our growing season.
Let us entertain you weekends in April and all of
October. Come ride hayrides, the tractor and barrel
trains & play in Mole Hill Mountain. November and half
of December fi nds us selling fresh cut trees, handmade
wreaths, holly bouquets & decorations. The ice cream
and coffee shop doubles as a bakery where Susan makes
seasonal pies from farm grown fruit and berries.
DAILY 9 A.M.–6 P.M.; APRIL 1 THROUGH DEC. 21.
